                                           Laboratory

 the teaching of science , home science and technical subject are different from others teaching subject. the most of time spent in leaarning these subject has  to be used for experimental work either in the classroom as a demonstraction or inn the labortary  as individual or group laboratort work.the mordan teacher is becoming more and more concerned with the facilities that are required for  learning by doing  laboratory expirence is the supervision of a teacher provide the student with than opportunity  to learn by doing. the form of laborartory method is different school to shool  but all these are combination  of tge ellement of all the morden method. when this method is applied to the teaching of general science  the task of teacher is generally the sopervision of the work of the class .he has to correct error of the studernt making suggestion and giving encournment.

                            Merit of laboratory method


learnging is not storing knowledge. it is not like dilivering and storing so many gallons of water reservors . it is a bipolar process in which the learner active particicaption is very essential. learnig become effective and actively participate in the learning process. leboratory method is based on  observation and the first hand experience  it is always safe  approch to begin with what we see , feel, and experience then that what we argue ,generalize and explain,  laboratory method brings the teacher  and the teaching in closecontactand thus provide knowledge through first hand experinece . the student receive knowledge when the see, feel, and expernince  things  in this method the teacher only guide the students he doed not dicate them to learn something which they do not want. the student engaged themselves fully in the activeyl and learn qualities as well as quantitatively.
